My most, most favorite musicians are Rising Appalachia! They came out with a new album this year called Wider Circles. This is one song from the album that I can feel deep; especially the stanza, “There is sugar in your voice dear, black pepper in your touch. And I have always loved too much.”
This is on my Spotify playlist named, Joyful. This eclectic mix of Bluegrass, Raqs Baladi, and Sufi spiritual makes my heart sing.
I know it is cliche as all get out, but I do have a wide range in taste of music. On my Spotify, I have Prince, Rolling Stones, The Belle Brigade, Aqualung, Niyaz, Irfan, Tinariwen, Ryan Bingham, Crooked Still, Ricky Skaggs, et al.
